Esther Mutesasira is a singer who with her brother Ezekiel Mutesasira won the first season of East African's Got Talent in October 2019, at the ages of 14(Esther) and 11(Ezekiel).

Following Julie Mutesasira’s divorcement of pastor Steven Mutesasira, she publicly announced that she was gay before relocating to Canada.
A few years later, her children joined her as they started their own educational and musical endeavours.
As of June 25,2022, Esther and her brother Ezekiel (singing duo) graduated from Elementary school to secondary school in Canada after reuniting with their mother.
Ahead of the end of the school year, Esther Mutesasira the other half of the singing duo of Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira took centre stage in her school prom party.
Taking to social media, Esther shared her beautiful prom photos, clad in red attire in the company of her white prom date.
Her mother, Julie Mutesasira, complimented her on how lovely she looked, before reassuring her that she needed to read hard.
