Bobi Wine exclaims, "You'll miss me when I'm gone," as the political system collapses around him

On Friday night, while driving through the streets of the Netherlands, Bobi Wine broke into an emotional rendition of a song by Jose Chameleone called Basiima Ogenze.

Basiima Ogenze is a tribute to the unsung heroes of the world;

It was released about 20 years ago. The song title, which translates as "people only appreciate your good actions after you have passed," became a popular phrase in the country. Bobi Wine got emotional while driving through the streets of the Netherlands on Friday evening and broke into a rendition of the song.

Bobi Wine sang along to the entire song while driving with party Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya, stopping sometimes to consider the song's important message.

The head of the opposition shared the video on social media and implied that he doesn't feel valued in the post:

"While we jammed out to Jose Chameleon's #BasiimaOgenze on our ride from Brussels to Amsterdam this afternoon, it got me thinking about things in life," he said on social media.

The greatest thing a guy can do is strive to be kind and make other people's lives better without looking for anything in return, as it won't happen during his lifetime.

"The beauty is that when they understand you at last, it will continue to exist even after you're gone."

Bobi Wine's hold on his own political party has been progressively loosening over the past month, and he has witnessed what seems to be the implosion of the political world around him.

Since severing his relationship with his vice president and former Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Hon. Mathias Mpuuga, the NUP President is dealing with a simmering rebellion inside his party.

Bobi Wine claimed that Mpuuga had asked the Parliamentary Commission for a payment of Shs 500.

But Mpuuga and a few party leaders said he was being used as a scapegoat because of his unwavering opposition to the LBTQ agenda.

The group alleges that Bobi Wine has permitted foreign organizations whose main goal is advancing the rights of sexual minorities to take control of the main opposition party.
