LET KADAGA BE: Mufumbiro Shows Raw Side With Speaker Anita Among

At the burial of Counsel Ramathan Waiswa, the younger brother of longtime politician Abdul Katundu, there was a solemn atmosphere across Bugweri County and Bugweri District.

In the Akodot Trading Centre, halfway between Ngora Town and Mukongoro Town, Ramathan perished in a car accident. He had previously appeared at Soroti's Magistrates court. After being taken to the Palisa hospital, his driver tragically passed away from his wounds.

Prominent figures from Uganda's political scene, representing a wide range of parties, attended his farewell, speaking and offering their condolences to the family.

Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, the deputy spokesperson for the NUP, is renowned for taking no prisoners. When the microphone fell into his hands, he advised Anita Among right to her face to leave Kadaga alone and focus on her role as speaker rather than battling Kadaga.

Mufumbiro ordered off Anita Among to let Kadaga alone than dragging her in fights when being questioned to account for the money she misuses in parliament. Anita Among was warned by Waiswa not to mistreat Kadaga in the same way as she had recently, calling her derogatory names and even referring to her as an elderly woman battling her.

"In Busoga, we support Kadaga. Please refrain from accusing Kadaga of something she hasn't done; I'm simply asking you to do so in case there are any problems. You beat and rested her. Hon. Anita Among, I wanted to say that since I am Waiswa, please refrain from abusing that woman in Bukedi while she is sleeping. I express my opinions, Alex Mufumbiro. Give Mama Kadaga some space, go about your business, spend taxpayer money carelessly, but leave Kadaga alone." Mufumbiro reprimanded Anita Among

Anita Among can be seen being too irritated in the viral video on social media as Mufubiro tells her to leave Kadaga alone, speaking without fear or favor.

A few weeks ago, Anita Among was heard in Bukedea criticizing Kadaga of being the source of her problems with accountability and disclosing lavish spending. In her husband's constituency of Buyende, she made the same reference, calling Kadaga an elderly woman who was opposing her. Mufumbiro took advantage of the opportunity to warn Anita among the Basoga, who were enraged.
