In Jamaica, male dancehall artiste, Adidja Azim Palmer, popularly known as Vybz Kartel changed his skin colour to sell his own bleaching cream Cake soap which left most his music fans stunned across the globe. Below is a list of local celebrities that have bleached.

The singer has had a chocolate colour while she was still a member of Obsessions dance group. When she became famous, she started changing her skin colour. The ‘Akuse’ star is turning into purple and you can clearly see her red veins on the skin; the bleaching creams must be burning out the melanin.
On our list of the most bleaching female celebrities in Uganda in 2023 is Sheebah Karungi. Sheebah Karungi is a Ugandan musician, dancer and actress born on 11th November 1989 in Kawempe and is currently 32y years old. She rose to fame in 2014 after the release of her hit single “Ice Cream”. In the same year (2014), she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track album which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back awards locally. She is one of Uganda’s most respected female artists, and her unmatched beauty sets her apart.

When she sang Cease and sickle jam featuring Bebe Cool in 2012, she was dark and beautiful. When she left Gagamel, she started bleaching. However, her bleaching is not too much and she can still stop.
